Scope: This Standard covers uni-directional and bi-directional strain-gage linear acceleration transducers.Included among the specific types of strain-gage linear acceleration transducers for which this Standard is applicable, are bonded, unbonded, deposited metallic, or semiconductor strain gages.Terminology used is defined in either ISA-37.1-1975 (R1982), Electrical Transducer Nomenclature and Terminology, or in 4.3 of this Standard.
