VDI/VDE 2617 Blatt 8:2018-10

The standard describes a procedure for the verification of the test process suitability of measurements on coordinate measuring machines. The described procedure uses the measurement uncertainty in comparison to the feature tolerance for the verification of the test process suitability. Tables list individual uncertainties and the associated test process suitability determining the characteristic for the common test process suitability. The procedure is designed in a way that it is applicable not only for coordinate measuring machines, but can be adapted to other measurement methods. The relevant tables are included with the standard as a directly applicable Microsoft Excel file and additional sample files on CD-ROM.
